SlimLine 68 Aluminium Windows
Zakuna's SlimLine 68 Aluminium Window System is specifically designed to meet the demand for an outward opening window with very slim profiles to maximise the glass area to let in more natural daylight. The slim frames and clean lines make this window ideal for both contemporary and more traditional properties, as the design of the window mimics the sight lines of original steel-framed windows.
SlimLine 68 vents can be glazed from the inside as well as the outside, and are available on a standard and a HI insulation level.
SlimLine 68 Aluminium Windows are made to measure and can be made in a choice of configurations to suit your requirements: fixed sash, direct glazed, single sash fixed sash, multi sash, combination windows. Opening sashes can be specified as fixed, side hung or top hung. Fire escape windows can be configured to match your design, and to comply with Fire Safety Regulations Part B1.

Finishes & Options
Windows are fully factory finished using the highest quality ecological spray applied, water based, micro-porous finishing system. The external aluminium can be powder coated to any RAL colour of your choice. All of our paints and lacquers are environmentally friendly, ecologically clean and harmless to the environment.
We offer a choice of double and triple glazed units up to 42mm width, with different performance characteristics – energy saving, solar control, noise reduction, safety, fire resistance. A choice of glazing bar styles can enhance the design, either face fixed and/or set within the glass unit. Thermo spacers bars are available in a range of colours to match the wood finishes. Our range of modern obscure glass patterns will add a good level of privacy for any room.
Our modern handles are elegantly designed in a wide range of colour finishes with locking options.
A choice of trickle vents, in frame or sash, glazed in vents, and acoustic vents can be specified to comply with building requirements.
Sizes
Our standard door leaf sizes range between: 1981mm - 2500mm height, 626mm -1026mm width. Made to Measure door leaf sizes are up to: 2900mm height, 1300mm width. Please ask for more details: info@zakuna.co.uk
Fire Door Options
Zakuna doors can be manufactured with FD30 or FD60 cores. As well as smoke seals, thresholds and intumescent strips installed within the door where necessary. If you require a self-closer for FD30S and FD60S, our hidden hinges can be upgraded to have a hidden self-closing mechanism within the frame and door, with no visible difference to our standard hidden hinges.
Door leaf thickness for Fire Rated Doors are 45mm for FD30, 52mm for FD60.
Installation
Our Pre-hung Interior Door Sets are easy to install, reducing labour, time and cost on site, in comparison to tradition methods. Door leaves, frames, linings and architraves are unassembled and supplied loose for on-site assembly. Installation instructions, fittings and fixings are provided. Our recommended consumables can be supplied as an option. We also offer a full installation service.
From Design to Installation
We work closely with customers, interior designers, architects and contractors to provide a fully bespoke service. This includes consultation to determine the design and specification to suit your requirements and budget. Our aim is to make the entire process as simple and practical as possible, offering a site survey and solutions to the challenges presented by complex design issues, building regulations and installation systems.
