Sometimes you may require your stairs to have 2 landings or a split landing when moving between floors. This may be to help your stairs conform to physical parameters as well as building regulations. Box Platforms

The Box Platform is a form of having wider treads that are open to access the stairs at different angles. They appear like a stacked set of treads. Each tread is progressively wider as you reach the bottom stair. Also referred to as 'wrap around treads' or 'closed box risers', these wider bottom treads or landings create a more inviting configuration to the stairs. They can be enhanced by LED lights and shadow gap details to the risers.

  • Enhanced by starting the balustrade from tread 2 or 3
