Aluminium Bi-fold Doors
Zakuna Bi-fold Doors are a modern and innovative design statement that can transform an ordinary room and make it a feature of any property - ideal for flooding your home with natural daylight, opening up your house to the garden and letting the outside in.
These doors lead the way in terms of performance with reliable, easy and smooth operation that is a testament to the careful design and premium specification of every component part. Door sets can be designed to fit almost any space, size, or configuration using up to 8 door leaves. Available in maximum sizes to facilitate the design of folding doors up to a very impressive 3m in height.
The CF 77 can be specified with our standard profile or a slim-line variant, the CF 77-SL, which features a narrower door leaf profile to maximise the glass area. Both are available in four different threshold solutions:
• High performance
• Double weather seal
• Low threshold
• Flat bottom
Each threshold option offers a trade-off between weather performance and ease of passage. The high performance option offers the best air, wind and water performance but has the highest threshold step. The double weather seal solution combines good weather resistance with a lower threshold. The low threshold option can be set into the floor to meet the requirements of Building Regulations and the flat bottom solution allows easy passage with no step at all, but this is at the expense of weather-proofing.
Available in a number of configurations between 2 and 8 door leaves and the option for slim sightlines, you can choose a design where all doors stack to the same side, or a design where some open one way and some the other. Designs with a single traffic door and 4 threshold options enable you to slip quickly and easily out into the garden, while leaving the other doors locked in place.

Finishes & Options
Doors are fully factory finished using the highest quality ecological spray applied, water based, micro-porous finishing system. The finishing coat is elastic and moves together with the wood as well as lets the wood breathe.
A wide variety of RAL and stain colour options are available to meet our customers’ requirements. All of our paints and lacquers are environmentally friendly, ecologically clean and harmless to the environment.
We offer double glazed units up to 24mm width, with different performance characteristics – energy saving, solar control, noise reduction, safety, fire resistance. A choice of glazing bar styles can enhance the design, either face fixed and/or set within the glass unit. A colour choice of thermo spacer bars is avaiaalber to match your finish: Black, Brown, Silver, Gold, White.
Door handles will add a finishing touch complement any room and add style to your interior design. Our modern handles are elegantly designed in a wide range of colour finishes with locking options.
Sizes
Our standard door leaf sizes range between: 1981mm - 2500mm height, 626mm -1026mm width. Made to Measure door leaf sizes are up to: 2900mm height, 1300mm width. Please ask for more details: info@zakuna.co.uk
Fire Door Options
Zakuna doors can be manufactured with FD30 or FD60 cores. As well as smoke seals, thresholds and intumescent strips installed within the door where necessary. If you require a self-closer for FD30S and FD60S, our hidden hinges can be upgraded to have a hidden self-closing mechanism within the frame and door, with no visible difference to our standard hidden hinges.
Door leaf thickness for Fire Rated Doors are 45mm for FD30, 52mm for FD60.
Installation
Our Pre-hung Interior Door Sets are easy to install, reducing labour, time and cost on site, in comparison to tradition methods. Door leaves, frames, linings and architraves are unassembled and supplied loose for on-site assembly. Installation instructions, fittings and fixings are provided. Our recommended consumables can be supplied as an option. We also offer a full installation service.
From Design to Installation
We work closely with customers, interior designers, architects and contractors to provide a fully bespoke service. This includes consultation to determine the design and specification to suit your requirements and budget. Our aim is to make the entire process as simple and practical as possible, offering a site survey and solutions to the challenges presented by complex design issues, building regulations and installation systems. Our windows bear the CE mark and correspond with the highest standards for thermal efficiency, weathering, acoustic performance and security. Environmentally friendly materials are used in manufacturing including FCS certified timber and water based paints for finishing.
