3 Flight Wayfarer Staircase

This recent installation project in Belgravia includes a three flight Zakuna Wayfarer Staircase which wraps around a central glass lift.

The Wayfarer staircase is a popular choice for its contemporary styling and angular lines. The steel strings create a visually strong and dramatic effect effect, designed with the treads fixed neatly between the strings.

Stained Dark Oak treads with closed risers were specified, fitted with a contrasting carpet runner. The bespoke railings were designed and created with textured painted steel spindles for a contemporary look, creating a feeling of elegance. The square Oak handrail complements the neutral blended tones of the interior decor.

A suite of Zakuna Artisan Doors including fire rated doors and matching pocket doors were installed to complete the client's design. Internal pre-hung doors sets were 2.2m in height, manufactured in White Ash, with bespoke styling, traditional panelling and brass inlays.

Polished brass LH5 knurled handles added the finishing touch.
